to a recording from Bill Harris Mastering Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now online course from Bill Harris http://www.masteringthepowerofnow.com
What a sweet treasure this is!
The first interview is with Zen master Genpo Roshi.
I am SO happy to hear him discuss the ego.
I've said this for a while now. If one is to say they are coming from a place of 'no ego' who is actually saying it?
The ego is.
He talks about the ego rather in a way that is fully aware.
To me this makes much more sense.
I can't wait to hear what else he has to say. Awesome stuff!
PS. Obviously ego can be a bad thing, however on average I believe it gets a really bad rap.
PPS. I just figured out how to play Blister in the Sun (Violent Femmes) on the guitar - riffffffin'
May you be happy, peaceful and loving. May you find inner joy. May you be continually blessed.

This is far too good not to share
I received this mailing from a past HypnoBirthing Mom. It's far too good to keep it to myself!
Isn't it fantastic???
Hi Tammy,
I just wanted to say thanks for the hypnobirthing course (3 months later lol, sorry). We have a beautiful healthy baby boy - John.
I had a really awesome birth experience. Although I had a 22 hour labour and I did have discomfort, I think it was mainly because we were never able to get much practice with Evan's late work hours. But I'm really thankful for what I was able to get out of the program - a birthing without fear. I had no medication and I was calm for the entire labour. The reactions from the hospital staff made me laugh... The nurses couldn't believe I had been in labour for 18 hours when I arrived. I was so relaxed, the nurse trying to put in the IV couldn't lift my arm, she had to ask me to raise my arm because it was too heavy. And the doctor who assessed me actually said "she's not having a baby she's meditating!" The midwives also said I was 'coping' amazinly well - most women are sreaming after that many hours. Overall, I was very satisfied with my birth experience.
I had a third degree tear. I barely felt the tear though, I didn't even think I would need stitches! But I think I could have avoided it if I had more information, or if my labour had been shorter. Other than that, my experience was amazing. I really think that if I hadn't used hypnobirthing I would have had a c-section.
Thanks again for spending the time to teach us how to have a fearless childbirth. It really made a huge difference!
Gloria
