Spirit Animal Messages

I'm always on the look out for messages from spirit.  Some will think that's weird and if you are one of those stop reading now.  LOL... 

This week I was talking to my husband about my brother (who transitioned March 13, 2015) telling him a story about how we used to drive down a particular road at high speeds.  After I was done I saw a shooting star!  It was very low in the sky... the lowest I'd ever seen in fact.  It was incredible and felt like Dave was still near.

This past week I saw a Monarch butterfly in the backyard.  I haven't seen a Monarch in years.  They truly are so precious.  

This one is a wikipedia photo... I didn't have my camera ready for it.  The butterfly signals transformation and change.

This morning when I got up I looked outside to the roof and saw these two...

By the time I got the camera they had moved over here onto our garage.  Of course I had to look up the spiritual meaning of ducks.  It says, "Be in the now, be in the moment, for this is where all of the power is available to you...be at peace and let it be" more here

Messages truly are everywhere if we take the time to slow down and see them.  

One of my students, during meditation, saw a bald eagle.  His message is definitely powerful... " The eagle bestows freedom and courage to look ahead"

Meditations & Colouring

Hey All!
Happy June!  I hope you are having a great day.

We are being reminded of the cycle of life in our fish tank these past days.  We have two tanks; a 30 and a 60 gallon.  It's the 60 gallon tank that is truly a teacher lately.

We've lost a few fish... Pretty died and we just had to put down Zeibs.  They were both our original fish in this tank which I believe is 7 years old.  Pretty was just old.   But Zeibs was being eaten by our pleco and beat up by the younger fish in the tank.  He did his best, but loss the battle and we didn't want to watch him suffer in his final hours.  It's always heart breaking to have to put down a fish.

Anyhow we've been thinking of getting 4 more fish for the tank to repopulate it.  Then yesterday I was watching my finned friends swim around and found two fry in there!  Our Electric Yellow Labs had babies!  It's so exciting.  Trouble is we can't get the fry out of the tank to protect them from the other cichlids.  Here's hoping the little guys make it and the other's don't decide to eat their young.

The ebb and flow of life in the tank, a reminder our own personal flow.

Not to mention why I married one.  Or the fact I'm surrounded by them!  LOL
Seriously - two of my best friends, my husband as I said, my sister in law and my nephew!  They are everywhere!

The bear is for those born in September in the Animal Totem Aug 22 - Sept 21st; or the sign of Virgo.

They are the full of strength and courage.  They are the healers and teachers.

I have been a busy little bee this past month.  I've published an entire series of colouring books

The animal totems have been so much fun to do!  Go buy one - I'd appreciate the support!

I started this sequence in March and finished it before Mercury goes retrograde later this week.  I'm thinking of revising them though - of adding a Spirit Animal meditation into the final pages of each.

Wouldn't that be kewl?

Then again it brings to question ... will the work ever truly be done?
