Trump Towers

Hey all!  Well it's been awhile since my last blog post.  I figured I'd add in here some of our holiday from the end of last year.  For the first time in 5 years we got to go away.  One of the things we did, beyond the cruise which I'll get to at some point is surprise my partner, Lyle, with an overnight at Trump Towers International in Miami to celebrate his 50th birthday.

What a gorgeous location!  Here is our view of Sunny Isles Beach from the 14th floor.....

My folks here.....  Dad watching TV and Mom counting her pennies.  This is the view from the front door of our room.  The sweetest little kitchenette then we had the room beside it as well so we had 1/2 of the floor with an ocean view side.

It was a nice introduction to the cruise as we could see water everywhere!  The naked eye can see 20 miles.  Here is the view from our bedroom.  To be honest it almost felt like we were on the cruise ship already albeit without the sway.

And the other side of the room.  I adore turquoise... and the lime green accents were so modern in colour.  The bathroom.. I didn't get a great shot of the jacuzzi or shower but here is the vanity...

And the beach was amazing from the guacamole to the excellent service to the wonderful walk Mom and I took; while Dad & Lyle sat at the bar enjoying the wonderful breeze.

Such great memories  thanks for letting me share them with you!
Hope you enjoyed the view
Love

Gratitude and gifts

I think I have the best students on the planet!
I was in tears when I read this one:

"I believe that there are folks on this earthly plane that are "recent travellers" and hold
many angel-like qualities, and you, my friend, are one of them.
Thank you for teaching both me and my mom to be more relaxed, balanced
and grateful in this life. Thank you for your "present-s" each and
every week. It means a lot to us."

Isn't that awesome?

I just finished doing a kundalini class to open the heart chakra and after reading this I think it burst open even more fully.

I'm so grateful for my students - they are aum-azing!  And I am so blessed.
Much love,
Tam

Taking stock....

"You must learn one thing: the world was made to be free in... anything or anyone that does not bring you alive is too small for you.” ~David Whyte

We can take David's words to another level when we take a look at the five people you spend you're most time with.

You see, dear soul you are a culmination of these folks.

Our wish for you is this group is helping you play large and more importantly free.

Namaste & much love

Who we are

It is said we are the culmination of the 5 people we spend the most time with.

The more I think of this, the more I find truth in it; although I wonder what it means if you spend most of your time with a cat? LOL

Last week I shared a portion of an article entitled Breathing Peace.

Some have asked me to post it here so you can re-read it. It comes from Science of Mind August 2006 which has an article about Thich Nhat Hanh.

Here is what he said,

"Breathing in, I calm my body.
Breathing out, I smile.
Dwelling in the present moment.
I know this is a wonderful moment."

It definitely takes gratitude to a different level, doesn't it?

This is from a lecture titled "Remembrance and Transformation"

"...Let us remember that peace is available in every moment, in every breath, in every action. If we are restless or caught up in struggle, we cannot be at peace with ourselves. Therefore we cannot be peaceful with others. By slowing down and letting go of worry, we begin to relax inside. This is the way of peace, to live happily in the present moment. Let us live mindfully. Let us be fully present in the beautiful moment that is now."
