Growing Speechless

Still not sure what words to use on a few pages including this one....
It has to be something quite special as she is sooo adorable and to me looks grateful and so very happy.

Then in my smaller journal being speechless doesn't seem to be a problem,

The little things

In my last video I said I re-potted my Bonsai tree.  Here he is before the repot he has a much larger home now and is really happy!

I've had some time over the past few days to journal..

I adore how the colours came out on this one - and even the girl's funky blue hair!  I ended up painting the flowers hot pink after this was taken but this is to gives you the idea...

Years ago I fell in love with this idea,

"The Secret to Life.....
All you have to do is be happy.
Do you know how to do that?
Just be happy!"

This paper was in my window for years.  I decided to put it into the journal.  Funny enough the dog was not originally in this piece.

While I was working out I peaked over to see it and there he was!  After I finished the mass sweat (yes I'm still doing Jillian Michaels cardio) I had to add him in.
Silly Google flipped the picture again...

Then I was searching the internet for a perfect quote to add to this page as it had so much extra space and I came across Donna Downey's upcoming art class and it had this quote on it... "Always believe something wonderful is about to happen."  I loved it so much I had to score it!  I've added it here and onto another project I may share later but for now here's the journal page.

It was still empty so then I added the little Book of Life... this was so fun!

I must say I think we will look back at life someday and realize it is all about the little things and how happy they make us feel.  As you know by now all you have to do is be happy!  LOL

Thanks for dropping in!

PS.  I got a kick out of a Napoleon Hill video I was watching while making this art.  He said to take 5 minutes every morning and have a good belly laugh.  He said something along the lines of "be sure you aren't in the company of others" as you do this!  LOL

PPS.  May you have a good belly laugh today!

Healing Journeys

I received an email yesterday from one of my distance clients. One of the things he said to me was very curious, "I wish healing was as easy as you make it out to be."

Whoa! Is this the impression I left him with? As you well know sometimes the written word does not translate as well as a face-to-face conversation. Maybe I didn't get through to him clearly.

We can take two points of view on this; one from personal experience and the other from knowing that our thoughts create our reality.

From personal experience, my healing journey has been far from easy. To quote Jerry Seinfeld,

"Life is truly a ride. We're all strapped in, and no one can stop it. As you make each passage from youth to adulthood to maturity, sometimes you put your arms up and scream, sometimes you just hang on to that bar in front of you. But the ride is the thing. I think the most you can hope for at the end of life is that your hair's messed, you're out of breath, and you didn't throw up."

As it was explained to me when I was dealing with depression and some serious layers of healing, "If you want to find peace, happiness and harmony, you have to do the work." The transformation has been painful as I'd imagine the shift from a catepillar to a butterfly might me. Although, I'm not sure anyone has ever asked the butterfly?

The second view point we could use is Abraham thinking. If we focus on how hard and challenging healing is, then it will most certainly continue to be. I really must apologize to this individual for leaving the impression that healing is as simple as waving a magic wand. But then again, if we allow our thinking to change, maybe it is?
