All you need is love

You know I just can't help myself... I love to create things.  Artwork, meditations, asana practice, crochet... the list goes on and on!  Here's my latest creation:  Present Moments... it's my new facebook page.  Come and check it out... like, share or comment!  I'd love it if you did.  And all we need is love!

Enjoy,
Tammy

PS.  I'm sure the page will evolve over time... I've yet to get some good paper to play with.  This stuff I'm using now is all smudgy and doesn't turn out the greatest.... it's all good, in time it will get better!

Astrology

I'm a Sagittarius and love Astrology.  I love to hear YouTuber's discussing what elements of the planets are effecting us each week.  And find a lot of the time the advice is worth listening to.  Sometime it's exactly what you need to hear.  A number of years ago I did a poster series on each Zodiac sign.  Here's my Aries poster... you can find all of these over on Pinterest:

I've taken the original posters, made them grey scale and added 'my girls':

This one is actually the cover of My Secret Amazing Delightful Life book and not included in the new book, but gives you an idea.  One for each of the signs with areas to record birthdays etc.  Here it is!

Inside there are the 12 signs (traits, elements, qualities, gemstones and more), other influencing planets (Venus, Mars, Neptune etc.,) as well as their main traits and the 12 houses featuring their main themes. You'll find descriptions of the Four Elements (fire, earth, water air) and the Qualities (cardinal/fixed/mutable).

Artwork is simple, easy and whimsical. There is space to record your personal details or areas you may use to journal. Keep track of important dates to remember ; birthdays, anniversary’s or other dates.

Would love you to have one!  It would make a great gift also.  Please share & thank you for your support!

Love,
Tam

PS.  This version is 8.5 x 11 and there is another which is smaller but exactly the same.  The small version is 5 X 8 so it's easier to store for those dates you don't want to forget!

Third eye

I had such an amazing time yesterday teaching Reiki Level 1.  I adore this class, modality and even more enjoying how other's excitement blasts open when they learn how to use Reiki. For those that don't know Reiki is a Japanese relaxation technique; when the body is relaxed it heals itself.  You can check out more if you want on my site http://www.reikiandyoga.com

At the beginning of the class we do a grounding meditation.  It's a really simple one which takes you into an open field, you find a place to sit down and relax and connect with Mother nature.

As I was guiding the one student I had my eyes closed, talking away - teaching the meditation and doing it myself also.  As soon as we got to the portion of walking in the field I saw the woman clearly in front of me wearing a maiden's dress, smiling, laughing and spinning in a circle.  She looked so happy.  It was as clear as day.

It was rather odd as this is the first time something like this has happened.  I never normally connect with someone during a meditation - not this way....seeing her so clearly.  When we finished the meditation I shared this with her.

She then shared that this is her favourite meditation to do is imagine herself spinning in an open field!

The synchronicity of the entire day was incredible.  I felt so blessed.  I was also really happy about how open my third eye was on this day.

I have had maidens on my mind lately though so maybe that's why my brain put her in those specific clothes.

Did you happen to see my Healing Goddess Calendar over on Etsy... here's the cover of one:

The first one I was in ink - which I chose to keep black and white figuring people could add their own colour to it:

Aren't they cute?  I love them all.

Speaking of cute you should see the little birds I've been playing with in watercolour!  So adorable.   I love them also.  I'll have to wait and post them at a later date though as I've made a few for Yule presents so I don't want anyone having a sneak peek!

Wishing you the best week - happy planning for the holidays,
Tam

Spread your wings

This is the butterfly inspiration I found over on pinterest:  http://www.pinterest.com/pin/273593746087521014/

I was so intrigued by it I decided to give it a go.  Here's what I've come up with so far....

First I found 6 pages to play with.  Then I glued the outside 4 pages to give it more suppport.

Then I cut the center two pages into the butterfly shape:

Added some water colour for the backgrounds.....

Then added some colour/design to the butterfly itself....

This journal page has taken some time, but I've really enjoyed it.  I'm still far from done, but am in no rush.  I may even make another!

Have a happy & super fantastic week

The little things

In my last video I said I re-potted my Bonsai tree.  Here he is before the repot he has a much larger home now and is really happy!

I've had some time over the past few days to journal..

I adore how the colours came out on this one - and even the girl's funky blue hair!  I ended up painting the flowers hot pink after this was taken but this is to gives you the idea...

Years ago I fell in love with this idea,

"The Secret to Life.....
All you have to do is be happy.
Do you know how to do that?
Just be happy!"

This paper was in my window for years.  I decided to put it into the journal.  Funny enough the dog was not originally in this piece.

While I was working out I peaked over to see it and there he was!  After I finished the mass sweat (yes I'm still doing Jillian Michaels cardio) I had to add him in.
Silly Google flipped the picture again...

Then I was searching the internet for a perfect quote to add to this page as it had so much extra space and I came across Donna Downey's upcoming art class and it had this quote on it... "Always believe something wonderful is about to happen."  I loved it so much I had to score it!  I've added it here and onto another project I may share later but for now here's the journal page.

It was still empty so then I added the little Book of Life... this was so fun!

I must say I think we will look back at life someday and realize it is all about the little things and how happy they make us feel.  As you know by now all you have to do is be happy!  LOL

Thanks for dropping in!

PS.  I got a kick out of a Napoleon Hill video I was watching while making this art.  He said to take 5 minutes every morning and have a good belly laugh.  He said something along the lines of "be sure you aren't in the company of others" as you do this!  LOL

PPS.  May you have a good belly laugh today!

(*Art Journal*) flip through January 2014

I did a youtube video with my full journal, much of it you've already seen here, but there may be some of the pages that didn't make it here.

Also you can see what kind of book I used (thanks to my SIL Stacy from MagicLoveCrow it's come in handy... love it!)

I'll be doing a February flip through soon... will wait until Mercury is out of Retrograde to do so
though!

Thanks for stopping in

Paint on!

Guided toward WellBeing

Ok, so I was wrong about the Royal baby - there was a 50% shot that I was right.  Still think its funny he was born on a full moon though.

Just a fast post today as I promised to let you know when I had posted my Exercise & Wellbeing  product over on my Etsy page.

So did you hear, I posted my 40 Day Mini Exercise and Wellbeing Journal Printable Weight loss guide and planner over on my Etsy page?  LOL

I had so much fun putting this program together.  The mini journal above supports 40 days of recording your behaviours & a place for you to pre-plan some changes.  Plus you get all of these:

Exercise Plan, shopping list, Weight & Wellbeing Journal, Health & Wellbeing script (all of these are 8 1/2 x 11") and more... go see them on the Etsy shop.  Anyhow they'll help you to get through the 40 days of shifting your behaviours.

We can all have a plan, but it is those who write their plans down succeed more than those who do not.  The act of writing puts the plan into action and allows you to see where you are headed, record your success & progress and helps you to overcome resistances in this case to release.  This not only applies to weight release but all other aspect of life also.

That's really what it is about when it comes down to releasing whatever it is we no longer wish to hold onto.  Realize for the most part it is only a behaviour pattern and behaviours can be changed.

Repeat after me, "Changing is effortless and easy"

Now you may not believe that, but the more you say it the more the mind will believe it.  It is our wish that you live your best life possible.  May you be happy, peaceful, loving & enjoy the health and wellbeing that is your birth right.

May you be continually blessed and find peace.

Namaste,
Tammy

PS. Here's a mini meditation for today I stumbled upon written by Ram Dass:

"Ask yourself: Where am I?

 Answer: Here.

Ask yourself: What time is it?

Answer: Now.

Say it until you can hear it."

PPS.  Now if I can remember to use this later while I'm at the dentist it will all be good.  I did just write it down or type it (in this case) so in this thinking it will be!

Scripting - an exercise in possibility

I can't recall where I learned this technique first.  I'll admit, I'm a bit of a self-help junkie (those who know me best will laugh at this statement... a bit???) Anyho.... it was either my buddy Bob (Bob Proctor) or John Assaraf.  But I guess since Bob was one of John's teacher's we'll give him the credit.

Me & My Buddy Bob... a meeting of which was also created using this technique.
Can you tell I was nervous?  Blushing!!!!

Many of the teachers tell you to get really clear on your goals and write them down.  John puts it this way, "Have Absolute Written Clarity on Your Vision/Goal/Income—Write It Down."

I concur.

Recently I scripted one paragraph of a perfect day.  In this paragraph I mentioned how much money I was making, a few new toys I had, what kind of car I was driving, how much fun it was during a holiday we had recently taken and how much I enjoyed spending time with the Oracle, the felines and fins.

Next let's envision some relaxing time at the beach!
I just added this one to my shop.

Now less than one month later a few of the things on this list have already occurred!  WOOT!!! Serious fun.... (see below).

It was hilarious actually as I just stumbled across the page I had written.  It was a worksheet to fill out from John Assaraf's old company "One Coach" .... now just because the company went bankrupt and is no longer in existence doesn't mean this technique doesn't work.  I'm here to tell you it sooooo does.  And it's fun to do!

When I was a kid I remember teachers telling my folks that I spent too much time day dreaming and not enough time focusing in class.  But day dreaming is fun, candy for the brain - the exciting world of possibilities.... the exhilarating what if????  (Can you tell I'm a Sagittarius?)

Here's how to use this scripting technique:

One a sheet of paper describe the following:

What income do you wish to achieve?
How you are spending your time?
Where are you living?
What are you driving?
Who are you with?
What kind of clothes are you wearing?
How are you contributing to the larger good of society (volunteering?  Tithing?)

... and anything else you wish to imagine.

Now you can put this paper in a safe place (under you pillow for sweet dreams) or simply stash it under other paper (like I did).  Read it.  Re-read it.  Forget about it.  It doesn't matter, but revisit the images you've created mentally time and again.

Sit back and watch for miracles.... like this one.....

So dang humdingally blessed!
Isn't he beautiful?

PS.  Please check out my new Etsy shop!  I'd love to hear what you think about my art or better yet make a purchase - I love making things for you guys.  Later this year I'll be offering originals and not so many prints.  Cheers & thank you for spending time with me! Love,
Tam x
